FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHAT TOOLS DO YOU USE FOR PAPERCUT?
I use some very simple tools for papercutting. Xacto knife, #11 Excel blades, craft mat, paper and inks to paint with. You should be able to find the items on Amazon.
WHAT PAPER DO YOU USE?
Primarily 120-160 GSM acid free drawing paper. I prefer paper with lower cotton content as I get the cleanest cuts without much fraying.
WHERE CAN I BUY 'MY FRIENDS ARE MISSING?'
Thank you, so, so, so, much for your enthusiasm over the book! I loved making it! Unfortunately, it's not available for purchase just yet. I'm still in the process of looking for publishers. If you know any or are one, email me, please!
I WANT TO BUY YOUR ARTWORKS/PRODUCTS!
I put up sales on Instagram from time to time. Do follow me over there!
DO YOU TAKE WORKSHOPS?
I love teaching! I haven't taken an in-person workshop since the pandemic. I tried taking online workshops but, I don't think it makes for the best learning environment. But, I do from time to time do Insta takeovers with various amazing small orgs/businesses to do live demos. So, do keep an eye out for those. If you're an organiser/small business looking to do an in-person/online workshop with me, do drop me a line!
ARE YOU OPEN FOR COMMISSION?
For commercial projects, always! For personal commissions, I'm closed at the moment. But, keep an eye out on my Instagram page for a story/post notification when I open it up again!
I'M A BEGINNER PAPERCUT/POP-UP ARTIST, WHERE CAN I LEARN MORE?
For papercut, I would recommend Etsy. Lots of papercutting templates at various price points on the platform. Great for getting started.
For pop-ups, check out 'The Pop-Up Channel' and 'Matthew Reinhart's youtube channel. Both are great resources that taught me a lot.
